Our U-shape furniture kits are designed to completely transform the feel of your van - creating a more open, social and practical living space without overcomplicating the layout.
This is the same style setup we use in many of our own Camper Family Cymru builds and it’s become one of our most popular layouts for a reason. The large wraparound seating area creates loads of usable space during the day before quickly converting into a full-width bed for the evening.
Whether you’re building a weekend day van or a full camper conversion, this layout gives a clean modern finish while still being practical for everyday use.

Built for Real Camper Use
After building over 100 camper vans, we’ve found that the best layouts are usually the simplest ones to live with day to day.
The U-shape design gives:

It’s a layout that works equally well for weekends away, beach trips, cycling adventures or longer touring setups.
Materials & Finish
All furniture is CNC cut in-house and built using durable 15mm laminated birch ply for a strong premium finish without unnecessary weight. Unlike some lower-cost furniture kits, our boards are laminated on both sides for a cleaner finish, improved durability and better moisture resistance throughout the full unit - including areas you don’t always see.
Each kit includes:

- Handmade cushions upholstered in-house
- Choice of stocked laminate finishes
- Optional upgraded laminates available

Once your order is placed, we’ll contact you directly to go through laminate colours, upholstery choices and final details to make sure everything suits your build style.

Lead Times
Current lead times are approximately 5–6 weeks from order confirmation.

- Non-stock laminates may occasionally increase lead times depending on supplier availability.
